What to use for buffer setup

Postby Biggz45 » Sun Feb 03, 2019 9:33 am

Hi all,

I'm planning on building a 450 lower to match with this BCA upper:
https://www.bearcreekarsenal.com/bca-ar ... -w-15-mlok
What I'm struggling with is what buffer & spring combo to use with a rifle length A2 buffer tube. What would you guys recommend? Does anyone know if the standard assembly would be about right or if it would be optimized with a heavier buffer and/or spring? I have pretty limited build experience, so just looking for some pointers.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome Aboard Mike!

Standard Rifle buffer and spring is fine.

Springco.com has a number of buffer action springs that you could use.

The best one for the 450 is the red spring.

Thanks guys for the quick reply. Looks like BCA got in some trouble today  Not sure which route I'll take on the upper now
