Good rings or 1 piece mounts?

Postby Sh40674 » Mon Nov 04, 2019 9:52 pm

I see the burris PEPR is highly recommended.. but I cant stand the rail on top of the rings..

What about the leupold mark ar mount? Seems to be about10 bucks cheaper.

What are some good options in the 80 dollar ish range and under? Give me some ideas to research. Prefer 4 screw, 6 is a little much imo and not needed, might as well save weight.

If not a 1 piece what about ring recommendations? What height?

Leupold, Nikon, Warne, Vortex, they are all good ones. Nikon has a pair of rings that throw the scope forward, might be a option.

I'm a big fan of Burris Signature rings. both the Standard and Zee. Almost every gun of mine wears them, including my AR uppers. The Delrin inserts provide a degree of gimbling to allow equal pressure on the tube, even when a rail is slightly out of spec and the elevation inserts can be handy when designing for long range specific applications.

Just put a set of P series rings on my AR10. Have several sets on my rifles.
