Federal Fusion 260gr?

I have some Hornady American Gunner 250gr FTX inbound, and am now looking to pick up some Federal Fusion 260gr (https://www.federalpremium.com/rifle/fu ... BMFS1.html) as I am familiar with hunting with other Fusion offers (6.8SPC, 6.5 Grendel, .308) - they work well.

Anyone have any experience with this ammo? I am not a reloader, so limited to factory. Looking to have something to hunt with that does not require too much adjustment vs. the 250gr FTX.

Thanks!

I have not tried the Fusions as of yet. But, when I went to the link and look at the bullet design I was impressed with it. A lot of the issues I have with the Hornady 250grain FTX are answered . The bullet has a canalure for one ,core fused to jacket, good weight, and a hollow point to start expansion. The price per round is a little high for extended practice, but not for hunting. As a reloader I wish I could get that bullet as a component. P.S. The price on Midway is very good for these. Unfortunately they are out but backorder OK.

IMO if you are shooting at less than 250 yards it should perform just fine.
Just going off experience with other similar made bullets and their ballistic charts.
Federal provides enough data to justify hunting expectations for the average hunters shooting ability....

Happy hunting! :D
