I would favor a two point attachment sling for hunting, where you will be carrying the gun "slung" for extended periods. Seems more comfortable than to have the rifle / carbine hanging from a single point. I have a mamba sling for my 5.56 carbine; it has an additional strap that runs along the side of the carbine, which some find fiddly. For my 450 rifle I use a simple strap type sling, which can also be used to support the rifle from the weak arm when shooting offhand without a rest. Some are more comfortable than others - depends on the material used, width of the sling, etc.
