Cabela's Upper update

Well I called Cabela's yesterday and asked about the 16" 450 upper I ordered in January. The lady I talked to said it's going to be another 30 days. Expected to ship at the end of March! I've read a couple of posts saying that some guys were getting theirs from Cabela's. Anybody have any info?

Talked to Bushmaster today ordering a part.........asked how the 450 was doing......He said they are flying out the door.....becoming very popular....

I got mine Yesterday. Have everything ready to mount up and let it do some barking. I waited 9.5 weeks to get, but with Indiana's new deer laws will be deer hunting this fall with it.

I was hoping the lady at Cabela's was wrong, and mine would be in shortly. I'm sure I won't be that lucky though.

The last I checked there was 2 16 inch uppers at thegunsource.com for 510 + 6 bucks shipped.I was going to give them an order but decided to go with a custom build 20 inch upper from DAC.I never heard of thegunsource.com till I ran a search for 450BM uppers on the web so I don't know anything about them but they said they have some 450BM uppers.The price seems good.They said they ship them in around 7 to 10 business days.

It seams like Cabella's doesn't track their backorder's very well.

I got an e-mail late Sunday night and a phone call on Monday that mine was in. I picked it up Monday night. My ammo is on backorder until the 25th and they didn't have any in any of the stores in town. Guess I have until the end of the month to admire and polish it. Just checked Cabelas websight and see that they are on backorder already. Must have sold a bunch.

I spoke with a CSR at Bushmaster on Tuesday and they said that they
recently shipped a whole stack of uppers to MidwayUSA. FYI Bushmaster
is in the process of moving their parts from Maine to NY so their lead times
on all parts are going to be delayed until around 3/18.

I canceled my order with Cabela's last night after finding out a way to get a better deal than the $549.99 price with free shipping I was going to get. When I called to cancel my order, the lady on the phone said they were expecting them to be in on the 30th. Now if you want to get the price I did ($506 shipped) go to Plastic Jungle, search Cabela's and then buy a few of the ecards. They have them from $25 -$500 they are 12% off so the $25 will cost you $22 then $50=$44 and the $500=$440 total $506 for $575 worth of goods. Or you could buy a few of the $500 ones and buy a bunch of other stuff. Plastic Jungle will email you the codes for the cards then at checkout inter the codes and Bob's your Uncle.

Hey 'Ol Man, so what did Indiana do to allow you to hunt with the 450b, the before and after would be interesting..t
