Question: What distance are you using from the Muzzle to the first Chronograph wing to measure your FPS......?

After reading many of your posts regarding reloads and barrel lengths.....I want to be on the same page so I'm recording Apples to Apples.....for comparisons.....

Thanks..........

To avoid ejectile induced errors, I use 8-10 feet.

Better yet!

If you spread out lots of targets on the target board for testing different loads, keep in mind the trigonometry.

...or jump from the 100 yard targets to the 25 yard target box for a quick zero check. Sent a 150gr .308 FMJ in one end and out the other of a Chrony F1 doing that. I keep it as a humility check.
