newbie question

Talk about the AR15 style rifles chambered in 450 Bushmaster.

newbie question

I am in process of building a 450bm, did alot of internet research on the ar platform. I was wondering why i didn't see

any 45-70 style ar uppers, or did i just miss them? :?:

Due to the fact that the 45-70 cartridge case is rimmed. The AR-15 is designed for cartridge cases that are rimless.
When you have to shoot, shoot, don't talk.

Accuracy Speaks is advertising a 450 marlin on an AR10.

10x4 on the rim..Rims are "Very" problematic in semi-auto's. Unless you have a tubular feed 22LR or the Box Fed Mag-WWII 303 Brit Bren Gun, otherwise, they are not worth the problems. They are not worth the cost to force them to work. Don't get me wrong, you can force it and I can put a Hemi in the neighbor kids Schwinn too. If you got the money I'll do it, but I will assume you are not on the Board of the Federal Reserve..wink.. Hope this helps..

They also list a .325 WSM, I would love to have one of those in the safe!!!!!
