Can someone recap what mags work and what modifications are needed?

Thanks,

I've read that sig 556 mags work without modification but the mag connector clip doesn't handle the recoil very well.

I can verify that the Sig 556 mags work right out of the box. I do not know how well they would hold up in the long run.

The sig mags are great. I can stuff about 11 in it with no issues.
And the hiccup about the connector clip is irrelavent for my intended use. I just pitched it.

I was going to post a link to those 556 mags at Academy but now they're showing them as out of stock. We've been seeing alot of that lately.

I just called Academy Sports, they're not out of stock, Academy just won't sell them on line, or over the phone, any longer? Unfortunately the nearest Acadamy Sports store is over 3 hours away from me. I've found them online other places but the price was 39.00 to 75.00

Anyone live near a store?

Wassup wit' dat? They'll only sell them in-store? What a load.

My local Academy has them in stock, $29.95 the pair, at least for the moment. They usually only stock two or three units, though. Oklahoma City area has two or three Academys in the area. This might help if I can send them to someone?...

I'd appreciate it if you could send a pair to me. PM me with your mailing address and I'll send you a money order for the mags and a flat rate box.

I have about three within 45 minutes from me. McKinney TX, Plano TX and one somewhere in Frisco or Allen.
But keep an eye on these guys.

They are also out of stock right now. But I bought mine here. Academys around
me are poorly stocked and maintained.
