Is the BM 450 bolt carrier the same as a standard AR15?

THANKS

Yes. The bolt face is enlarged. But, everthing else is the same.

Gunnut beat me to it but he is correct the carrier is the same but the actual bolt is different. IIRC it is opened up to a 7.62 rim, I maybe wrong but I am sure Tim will enlighten us when he gets a chance to post.

Yeah, I been looking at those new Ruger Tactical models, they have to be registered as a pistol here in mi and all that needs to be done is the conversion itself, find a high perch above one of these corn fields and bingo..

The Military bolt carriers work the best in all calibers. They have a good bit more metal in them and weigh more.
