I was really ticked! So ticked off, I made another video shooting the quarter inch plate again. Probably won't waste bandwidth posting it though. But I am working on more videos.
Here is one.

I am also working on a nice video of our little Glock shooting fun we had yesterday.

I finished the trigger job on my 450B lower today. JP yellow spring kit and a bit of stoning then polished it out to a smooth as glass mirror finish. Trigger breaks consistently at 4 pounds. I also stoned and polished out the trigger group in lower #2, installed another set of JP yellow springs on the Daniel Defense trigger and hammer and now it's a crisp 3.5 pound trigger pull. Now to get another stock.

I've been in training all week and the temps have been up in the century ranges but we are planning future videos featuring a penetrating look at FMJs.... Stay tuned.

The 284 rifle has an 1-1/4" Dia. O.D. of steel around the Chamber and so does the 450 Bushmaster. I have yet to have any kind of failure, chamber, bolt, case, nothing.
I'm not qualified to say this is safe. But, I've become comfortable with it.

What FMJ you using, Gunny? I'm trying to place an order, and I can;t make up my mind between Hornady or Mag Tech.

I've been using "Zero" 230 FMJs. They work just fine for what I'm doing.

hey dawg-
i just shot off my first 20 reloads w/230gr rn hornady rn fmj's. I think you'll like the plate busting damage they inflict. :o don't have a camera working right now, but they hit much harder than the ftx's. No recoil reduction, just a slipon limbsaver on a2 stock, fattest loads were almost identical to 250 hornady factory ammo in regards to recoil. lilgun @ 39, 40, 41, no pressure signs, 2389-2455 fps on the 5 @ 41 gr lilgun, 2.10 oal. the 39 gr loads sooted real bad, less @40, even less @ 41.
i used the modded fcd which works way cool.
ordering some 230fr fmj fp's to play with as well.
have fun
