this weekend, i'll be out at a ranch with tables and measured backdrops, so i'll definitely post pics of groups, the first ones i just shot through the chrono standing at some old 1/2" floorplate @around 50 yds. all hit plate,(12" sq) but i cant say accuracy wise till i shoot it off a rest.

The Gunny's working load is 45gr of lil-gun, if I remember correctly. If you find that load to be safe in your weapon, which apparently he and several do (hey gunney, at what speeds was that load operating at? I think I measured some at 25-2600fps??), it should be winner at piercing that 3/8th plate, with those fmj's..

That's my next project. I'm gonna work up to that, but I am saving for a digital scale. Already got a Chrony.
And I measured that plate and figured that .421" equals 7/16". I may not be playing with 3/8".

your right W.C. 45 of LiL Gun put them low to mid 2600. 47 put them around 2760.
Might need 47 for 7/16ths.

I've gotten 2 notifications now from Bushmaster with two different tracking #s shipping me some parts. This is kinda weird. The last time I spoke with a Bushmaster "person", (I can't use the term customer service representative cuz they certainly didn't act like one), they told me that THEY had cancelled my backorder (on their own without even talking to me first). Packages are in transit and on time both weigh about the same, (.5Lb). You might say it's a catalog but both packages are shipping UPS Air. This is very strange.
