Thumpity thump, freshly painted using DuraCoat. Very happy with the results. Just need a camo sling and its game time.

Hi everyone here is pictures and a list of components and/products i used for the 450 BudhMaster budget build. It might not be to everyones likings, but i think you truned out very nice. I have about 40 rounds through it now. She very shoots very good from the short distances i have shot it. About 50 yards off my back deck into tree line behind my house. Sub MOA .40" 7 shot group.

I need to get it out to the range so can see what it does at 100 yards.

But here is the list of build parts. I already had a few of the components on hand.

AERO PRECISION: Forged 7075 T6 aluminum .458 SOCOM (450 BushMaster and 50 Beowulf) Stripped Upper Receiver.

DAVIDSON DEFENSE: Slim Modular Pro 15" M-LOK Free Float Quad Rail hand guard w/ Steel Nut. (Had this on hand)

BEAR CREEK ARSENAL: 18" heavy profile stainless steel barrel with a stainless finish 1:24 twist rate w/ mid length gas system. I polished (not to shine but to make very smooth to the touch) the barrel feed ramp and all teeth where the bolt seats.

TOOLCRAFT: 450 Bushmaster Nickel Boron Full-Auto M16 BCG

HELIUS TACTICAL: Big Bore Stainless 1776 muzzle brake.

CUSTOM DUST COVERS: Dust with Army Eagle Creat and AR450BM and famous Genghis Kong qoute. I also polished dust cover rod and sping a bit and remove the material on the bevel and indent of the dust cover to add a touch of the stainless look to it.

PLUM CRAZY COMPLETE LOWER: AR-15 Improved Gen II Complete Lower Receiver model with premium metal commercial buffer tube and slider. Some may frown on the lower for being poly, but this thing is great.

XTREME PRECISION: AR15 Stainless lower parts kit;
Stainless push button safe - Stainless extended takedown pins - Stainless forward assist - Stainless mag release - Stainless trigger anti-roll pins

XTREME PRECISION: Stainless bolt catch / release

STRIKES INDUSTRIES: Viper modular fixed stock with optional Viper MFS extanded rubber butt pad and Viper MFS monopod. The monopod is wrapped in a thin but real metal material that is used to fix car exhaust system, it is self adhesion.

STRIKES INDUSTRIES: Carbine Flatwire Buffer Spring

SPIKES TACTICAL: ST-T1 Buffer

GENERIC: Charging handle. Had it on hand. Add the same thin real metal wrap to the top of it like i did with the monopod.

CUSTOM MIL SPEC TRIGGER: Polished in all the right places and JP ENTERPRISE spring kit add. Let me tell this is on smooth and crisp trigger. Had this setup on hand.

Yes i removed the poly trigger group, but not becuase there was anything wrong with it honeslty it very good. I removed it becuase i wanted the trigger itself to match the theme of the build.

XAEGIS: Bipod, 6-9 inch Adjustable Spring Return Bipod with 21mm Picatinny Mount Adapter.

M&A Tatical: Prototype 4-14x44 FFP scope with. This is one of the scopes that me and my wife was going to bring to the make, changedour minds about the venture. So hand it on hand.

UTG: Accu - Sync Offset Picatinny Rings - 30 MM High Profile scope mount.

LENSER: 2 10 and 1 20 round clear ploy mags. Mags have been modified as you can see inbthe pics below. The custom 450 BudhMaster follower is by E and Z 3D printing. This setup works great. I have not had even one feed issues.

My fifth AR build: Spikes "WVCDL" lower; Timney; Gibbz Arms side charger (Love it!); Obsidian Arms barrel and brake. Nordic Components handguard; (Was going to use Superlative adjustable gas block but it interfered with the handguard, Ended up using a Troy low profile.) Heavy buffer; Fab Defense GL Shock buttstock.

So I started with the Bear Creek 18 inch upper, coupled with an A1 stock I had laying around, Added an anderson lower and a CMMG parts kit, coupled with a burris mount, Vortex 3.5-10x diamondback scope and a magpul grip. Still debating on switching out the free floating front for something different. I call it the Binford Ar-450, for when you need more power! Image

Hey, looks awesome, just used that stock on my latest build. I think the fixed stock makes perfect sense for a thumper!

I figured I'd attempt to upload a photo of my work in progress. I've been off of forums for a few years so I had to blow the dust off of my photo bucket account. I won a few lower receivers a few years ago and they've just been gathering dust in my safe since then. The lower is just an Anderson lower with a spikes tactical build kit, I'm not a fan but the components work for now. The upper is a Black Rain Spec 15 450 Bushmaster. I added a Vortex Strikefire II green dot because I'll mostly be using this from 50 to 100 yards hunting black bears up here in Alaska. I'd like to switch to one of my A2 buttstocks that I have laying around but I'd like to find a limb saver for it first since the A2 feels like a steel bicycle pedal placed on my shoulder. All in all I'm having fun with this rifle and this weekend I'll begin playing around with reloading for it. Now, let's see if I can upload a photo.

Hooray, my scope and mount showed up today. Got 'er mounted up and done so the build is finally complete.

Since this scope is going to stay with this gun I went with a non-QD scope mount. The rifle with scope & empty magazine comes in at 7.71lbs.

Still haven't had an opportunity to shoot it, but hopefully soon.
