Looking for a 450B **Found One**

Postby Vindic8 » Fri Jan 22, 2010 4:09 pm

Does anyone have a lead on a good price for a 450B Complete upper? I have been on other forums (glocktalk, etc.) where they have a thread where people post the best current price for the forum topic weapon. Do we have anyhting like that here? I looked around the forums and didnt see one.

**EDIT** Found one

No ongoing thread, but that might be a good idea. Usually people just post when they see good prices.

Is the upper sale they were having over now?

the bushmaster sale was only for November.. From what I found when I bought mine in October - most places were very close in price..

I did get a PM from member of ar15.com that offered to build me a upper.. I know nothing about them, but I can get you some info if interested..

+1 on ballisticadvantage. Adam will also do custom barrel lengths and muzzle threading. Adam was very prompt in answering my questions. I believe Spikes Tactical also uses them for custom caliber builds. See this thread

AJ,

We can provide the requested barrel for $245 parkerized or $265 IonBonded. The 450 Bushmaster uses an oddball thread of 11/16 X 24 tpi. The Izzy flash hider from Bushmaster is the only muzzle device that I know of with this thread. Do you have a different thread in mind?

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,

How much would it cost for a .450 thumper barrel for the AR-15 in a 10.5 inch long carbine length gas system with threading for a flash hider/muzzle brake?
