Posted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 2:04 pmI've had real good luck using the Hornady 250 grain FTX over Lil Gun, H100, 296, and 297. The Nosler 250 grain .452 JHP shot real well for me as well over Lil Gun and H110, and it's less costly. I've sized down the Hornady 325 grain FTX as well, and it shot well. I'm just not certain that I came out ahead for the effort.
It seems to be a pretty easy round to load, and brass life is good. Kind of like the .45 acp, only stretched out for the long barrel platform.
