IIRC The .308 platform will either take Armalite mags or DPMS mags. Someone will correct me if I am wrong. I am seriously looking at POF's P308 in NP3, but the only thing holding me back is parts and mag interchange ablity. If everything was standardized it would be a done deal for me.

Go to Accuracy Rifle Systems -- they chamber the AR10 in 450 Marlin.

If you are looking at the magazine issue, I would probably go with a system that uses the DPMS mags. Knights Armament, DPMS and I believe POF all use the DPMS style. Also Cproducts and now Magpul make a magazine for DPMS. Seems to me that it is a little more common than the Armalite offering right now.

+1 on this advice. FAL mags are cheap if you wanted to go the Rock River route, but why when you have companies currently producing new mags for the DPMS pattern guns.

Spent the day at the range yesterday with my DPMS LR308. Tried 4/5 round c product mags, 2/20 round DPMS mags, and 2/20 round Magpul pmags. Shot about 150 rounds total through all of the mags without a single failure to feed on any of them.

Yeah that is why I am leaning to the POF P-308 in a 12" barrell. Maybe with a second .450 marlin upper. Fal mags are pretty common up here but as said before there are enough vendors producing the DPMS mags it is a no brainer to just buy new mags as opposed to used.
