If anyone's interested: Remington R-15 18" 450b rifle $999.88
Bushmaster 450b 16" upper $549.00
Hornady 450b 4-die set $58.00 (still comes with 100-boolit rebate)

Cabela's website, as of today.

Hmmm...good question: anybody out there own a Remmy R-15?

I'm pretty sure there are some Remmy owners here. Maybe look through the picture thread. Are they camo, or black?

I think the R-15s are all camo...Bushy uppers are black.

Rems are 18" barrels...Bushys are 16" & 20"....they're prolly off the same production line.

There's a company on Gunbroker that sells the Bushy camo'd out for about $100 more than the non-camo. At least there used to be. Haven't looked for a 450b on Gunbroker in a year and a half.
It's sad that Remmington chose to knock off the politically incorrect threads on the muzzle, though it's probably more to expand their sales domain to states where you can't have a threaded muzzle.

OK, I was wondering why the Remmys were threadless...you're probably right about the PC nonsense. What a joke.

Remmy has cow-towed more than once in the past 20 years to the PC crowd. Seems like I heard something throught NRA back in the late 1980s and again during the Klinton administration.
