Wow Hoot, you're a little more scientific than I am when it comes to working up a load. I wouldn't go nearly as in-depth as that. So I guess the CCIs will work for that speed, and you'll just have to let us know how much more velocity you can get out of it and what the gun prefers as the velocity goes up.

Speaking of Windham, I just love this quote from the Freedom Group, talking about relocating the Bushmaster manufacturing to New York:

If ever there was a more spot-on method of identifying a bean counter at the top of an org chart, I don't know what it would be! I'm glad to see that the people who see their work product as something more than debits and credits on a balance sheet have managed to find employment again.

It is so great to have you guys back in the saddle! I am looking forward to seeing your inventory and selection and accessories expand! I bought my Bushmasters back in 2010 so you might say I am a returning customer! This spring was a disaster for me when I tried to do business with the Freedom Group version of Bushmaster and my Lowers projects were put on hold for over four months. I finally canceled the orders and did business with other AR MFGs through Midway and Brownells. Yepper, I sent them a "welcome back" email, too, and actually got a nice response the next day. They seem to actually want to respond to customers. How refreshing! Especially in contrast to the following:

Multiple emails to Bushmaster CS = no response.
Multiple emails to Remington CS = no response.
Multiple emails to Freedom Group CS = no response.
