Any scout-scopers there

Postby the_mad_rshn » Sat Apr 03, 2010 8:32 pm

Hey dudes (gents),

I am a pro-scout scope guy. Started with a 44Mag Marlin lever. 100 yards was as easy as a 9 power setup. So I figured I will go with the same setup on my 450- it's a 2.5x. Got a deer this season with that guy. Shot at a running dear too, but it hit right at the tree that the deer approached while I was following it with the scope at the moment I squeezed the trigger. So anyway. I am just curios if I am the only one to practice this awesome setup.

Man, that's a nice set-up. I too am a fan of Scout set-ups. How did you connect it to the hand-guard?..t

I use a Yankee Hill customizable hand guard. It has a screw-mounted rail on top. Something like this:

Mine is rifle lenght though.
Hope it answers.
