Got it in the mail today, thank you Hoot! I'm going camping later this week so I will have to try and get it put in after that. Should work out so that I can have your CCWS in before I try out any of my reloads.

thanks for the info Hoot as soon as i get both my uppers there going to get the Hoot treatment
a tech that i use fixing farm equipment and such. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, you can cook the assembly @ 120* or so for about 15 min just put tape over back and stand up let it cool on its own in the oven and you just knocked your curing time to about an hour and seems to be as strong.

Absolutely! Where I used to work, we had curing ovens to accelerate the cure rate epoxy compounds we used for potting certain electronic circuits. Surface preparation is the key to lasting results. De-grease the heck out of that carrier and slug before gluing it in. Don't just spray it, scrub it to get the small crumbly's off. Good luck. You'll be pleased with the results.

I did the "HOOT TRICK" to my 450 before I ever got to shoot it, so I will never know how much pain it saved me. With this system and a recool pad I can play all day at the range with Thumper. Never did thank ya Hoot. THANKS! ! !
