Yep im the newbie and I was wondering if anyone had the time to answer a few questions.

1. Does anyone know the thread pattern on the 20" .450 bushmaster rifle muzzle brakes?
2. Good rail systems >200$?
3. Just bought a ACE skeleton stock and I was wondering is ther anything else besisdes a muzzle brake/stock that would help with recoil?
4. This might be a dumb question but are all bushmaster uppers and lowers interchange-able?

Thanks for your time!!

To help with the recoil I added an Enidine Hydraulic buffer. Don't know if it helped as its the only buffer I tried with the .450. I did read somewhere that that's the buffer Bushmaster installs in their complete .450 rifles.

My complete 20" came with a normal/maybe heavy rifle buffer.

Thanks, we're a pretty civil and somewhat well mannered bunch here as I am sure you will be. Again, welcome aboard looking forward to your input.

I just received my limbsaver for my BM, I use a 6 position on my lower and didn't want to change out my but-stock to an A2 because I use this lower for my 16" .223 also so I figured I'd give the limbsaver a try. Here's the part number, (LIMBSAVER (SIMS VIB.) LIMB 10019 PAD AR-15 SNAP ON UNIV10019) I got mine from a seller on AuctionArms.com

My dad had extensive neck and shoulder surgery and was "prescribed" a limb saver and was told the largest rifle he should shoot is a .243 with a magnum limbsaver on it.
I fired it last X-mas and it was pretty amazing how much it DID cut down on the felt recoil.

I'm taking my 450 out this weekend to see how it does.
