Sure is fun dumping 11 rounds of thumper huh? :D

I wonder if there is a short sig magazine? I have to admit I have no trouble with them, and when hunting, plastic doesn't "clank" against my treestand. I'd love a reliable 5 round polymer mag that works. Anyone know if they make a short sig mag?

I realize how to reduce capacity, just trying to reduce the length of the magazine as well.

What about Pmag 20 rounders? Or maybe another brand polymer 20 rounder like Orlite or Promag?

I have also emailed magpul about making mags for this application, but no reply yet.
Will keep you posted how they work out.

You won't regret using the Sig mags. It would be awesome if Magpul made a windowed Pmag's for our application, but I have a feeling it maybe vaporware until they realize how many of us are shooting the .450B as much as we do since we don't have the ammo shortages (knock on wood) as the other big bore AR enthusiasts.

I think you forgot to knock on wood.... LOL!

I have some lancer 5 mags I got for my 556 build. I bought a box of ammo and loaded a few in, seems pretty good till you get a few in than the tip pushes up a little. How many round's are you guys getting in a standard 30 rd mag. i think they may make a 20 rd

Yeah I looked online and the pickin's were slim, so I called two of the shops around me and they had 10+ boxes each. I haven't used the 30 round G.I.mags since I switched to the Sig mags. I load 11 rounds of .450 in them. I also have a Cammenga Easymag but I forget how many I load into it.

When looking for a Sig mag, what do I look for/ Ask for?
Is there a link to a sample for sale? I don't know exactly what I'm
looking for here.
