More Bolt Action 450 Bushmasters

Postby EDBOHMAN » Mon Feb 10, 2014 8:27 am

Hello all. I am new to the forum and wanted to let like you all know that I have been building bolt action 450 Bushmasters for the last 3 years on Remington 700s and Winchester M70s. They all have shot very well. Just thought I'd share a link to some of my work with like minded individuals.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding a 450 Bushmaster Bolt Action build.

Welcome aboard Ed. I recall reading somewhere, perhaps here, that you were making BA 450b's.

Thanks for joining and fielding questions that I'm sure you will start getting as soon as other members read this.

Ed Bohman-
Thanks for posting the link to your website.

We had a tantalizing but blurry glimpse of your work about 15 months ago, when one of your clients for whom you did a Model 70 conversion posted a couple of times on the forum: winchester model 70 .450bushmaster It's nice finally to be able to look at some clear sharp photos of some sharp-looking rifles.

I'm pleased to see you're installing McGowen barrels. I used one of their CM barrels on my heavy Model 70 in 450B, and it's done well so far. I've recommended the company to several who have asked on the forum, but only on the basis of my own experience. I'll have more confidence in the future based on your use of them.

Tell your clients, particularly those that handload, to report their observations and results in the reloading subforum here.

Live long and prosper!
