this might be a dumb question but is there much difference in recoil between an AR 450 and a bolt 450?
Just finished checking the haedspacing and preliminary sight-in on my new Savage Axis build, and I would have to answer YES to your question. My 16 inch AR weighs over a pound less than the Savage, and with Hoots weighted bolt carrier and H3 buffer I would estimate the felt recoil as at least 30% less.
