that came out nice bub\d. We'll have to match chrono data someday, see what that long barrel gains over a 16" AR and a 24" bolt.

Beautiful gun. There is a guy named David White (D&T Custom Gunworks) that does a lot with the .357 Max and other straightwall cartridges. You might want to check him out.

Thanks cutright. I have been on his sight several times. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can get out of both of them.

At 38,000 p.s.i. you could put the .450 BM in a T/C Contender as well couldn't you? That would also make for an interesting pistol!

Factory ammo today on the chrono 2396-2420. Produced just under a inch using a bipod and a not so stable picnic table. The range was tied up today at the club with a conceals weapon class. So I played at home with what I had. 43 gr of lil gun and a 250 Xtp ran 2680 fps with no pressure signs. Just added recoil. Lol

Ken-
Thanks for your report. Please continue to post information about your results with different bullets and powder. We locked-breech 450B users need more data points. Some more information on the handloads as you develop them will be most helpful. Primer? C.O.A.L.? Crimping techniques? Case mfr?

A couple of questions about your rifle, if you don't mind? I can't find the answers in what you've posted so far, but I certainly could have overlooked them.

What's the final weight on your rifle?

What is the muzzle diameter on your barrel? I cannot tell from the photo whether the barrel contour is a straight taper from breech to muzzle or something else. If straight taper, what's the breech diameter?

You've produced a fine looking rifle, and one that is apparently fine performing also.

Remington bench rest primer, new Hornady brass, tapered crimp to .473. I'll let you know c.o.a.l. Later With the barrel measurements.
