If Quickload is any indication ----- going from 16 inch to 22 inch will yield about 100+ fps more, depending on the powder.

Any one know what Barnes bullet that was that he showed? I tried finding it on Barnes website but didn't have any luck.

I did go back and listen to the video again and then looked up the bullet on Barnes website. I did a search here on the forum and found an old thread discussing the Barnes bullet. Most of the comments on the forum were negative r/t to bullet length and excessive copper build up in the barrel due to increase velocity of the 450.
This was with the Barnes Spit Fire T-EZ muzzle loader bullet which is made to use a sabot.
So, for the time being I will continue to use Hornady FTX 225 and 250 grain bullets for my reloading.

The 250 grain monoflex could benefit from the extra COAL instead of the Barnes pills

I run those TEZ's in the 460 MGM Encore with no fouling problems, never tried them in the 450 AR but I can see where they would eat up case capacity.

In the gun blast review Jeff said he liked the Barnes bullets best.

Any update on when Ruger is going to start shipping the production model Ranch Rifles to dealers? I keep in contact with my local dealer but he doesn't have a firm date from Ruger.

There's a similar discussion ongoing on the FB group. From what I've read, it's still a few weeks out.
