For some stupid reason Ruger put 11/16x24 threads on it and for which no one makes a direct thread fitting for a can in that size that I am aware of. I'm not going to spend $150 for a muzzle brake when I have a $900 can I can put on it. I want it quieter not louder, lol.

I believe SilencerCo offers a muzzle brake with the correct thread pattern. You could use that and the ASR mount to get the best of both worlds. That is how I mount my Omega to multiple hosts.

Its not a stupid reason you need metal to make strong threads...5/8"-24 would leave very little metal....
2 x .058" major to minor (thread depth)= .1164" + .451" - .625" O.D. = .0566" divide 2 leaves .0283" of metal....11/16"-24 would leave .0600"....

I would be very careful using a adapter 11-16"-24 to 5/8"-24....as you said you have a $900 can you don't want to mess it up with a baffle strike because of bad alglingement.....

I've been emailing once a month to SilencerCo to make a 11/16"-24 direct thread mount for the Hybrid....there answer is there production is constrated on suppresser production....It would help if other people did the same to show them theres a need for them.....

They told me to buy a ASR Mount $162 an a ASR Flash Hider $92.....a direct thread mount would be only $129.....

I'am working with a machinist to make 11/16"-24 Hybrid mount out of titanium....I'll post when it happens....

Let me know if you get the titanium direct thread mount made. I would be interested in getting one myself depending on cost. Silencerco has a post Christmas sale on their stuff at 30% off but I don't see where the ASR Flash hider has 11/16x24 threads. I'll try to call them on Tuesday when they are open and see what they have. I guess I shouldn't complain since I have 5.56, 6.8, and 308 rifles to utilize the 5/8x24 mount that's on there. I was thinking 200gr to 360gr subs in the 450 would still make it a viable hunting tool in contrast to the pitiful performance of the 300 BO subs for hunting.

I shot my Ruger 450 with the Silencerco Hybrid Suppressor yesterday and it shoots great and sounds like firing a 22 magnum rifle Recoil is not bad at all after adding a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x50 scope on it and the suppressor acts like a brake as well plus adds additional weight.

I also found a muzzle brake at Cheaperthandirt for $43 with the proper threads. https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product ... rom=Search
The SIlencerco ACR system uses a muzzle brake attached to the rifle and then the suppressor is screwed on over the muzzle brake.
I shot the rifle with just the muzzle brake and of course it was a lot louder but recoil wasn't bad at all expecially is such a light rifle with 444 Marlin like ballistics.

The Hybrid is 7.8" long.
I shot a 200lb boar with it on saturday evening.
Slammed him down and fully penetrated with a frontal shot. I didn't have the can on it for the hunt.

I went to buy the 450 American at my local gun shop but I really didn't like it. The stock/rifle seemed so small it was almost like a youth rifle. I also like a heavier rifle. I applaud ruger in making this but I'd definitely like it in a different model!

IIRC there's a 22" stainless steel with black synthetic stock coming out next? Check with Ruger's customer service about that...

This first version is being marketed as a compact "Ranch" or "Truck" gun, as they're called...sounds like that's exactly what you looked at.
