Went into a Howell gun shop today and they have 2 of the Ruger American 16" models in stock. $575.00 is the price. Also had the American in 300 Blackout .

In case anyone is interested:
I went to Randy's Hunting Center in Bad Axe, MI last Monday and he had the Ruger 450BM 16" in both Right and Left hand, 22" in both Stainless and Blue and both Right and Left hand. He had just got a new shipment in from Ruger.
Prices were:
16" 599.00 (threaded barrel) extra 150.00 for a muzzle brake
22" blue 499.00 (not threaded barrel)
22" stainless 699.00 (not threaded barrel)
It was nice to be able to see all the options plus the accessories at one store.

New to this forum. Just got in a Ruger American 450BM 22" SS , running a Redfield Revenge 2-7x34mm 4-Plex Scope.
Finished getting everything setup today. hope to go to the range tomorrow or next day.
