Enough of the PG-13 trailer, lets see the hard core stuff! ;)

BTW who was the fool who shot up your storage pod?

I accidentally locked up one of Hillarys' assassins in there and forgot to leave water and food. He quit shooting after 14 days. But now it's airing out. Kinda smells gamey in there.

Good in depth article, although I suspect a little off on a few little things that don't add up to a hoot and a holler.
I did not know that Ruger used dual cocking cams. This is a great improvement over most bolt actions. Every one I own has a single cocking cam and ramp. This is a good interpretation of the 450b in a bolt action, though its hard to warm to a synthetic minimalist stock on a bolt action. I do understand why it would be popular. Its hard to imagine any interpretation of the 450b in a bolt action that would make me want to find my wallet. I already have it in a great performing semi-auto, but that's just my way of thinking. ;)

Hoot. Once you shoot mine, you'll fall in love. One thing I've yet to do is measure the chamber freebore. But I'm thinking the longer heavier bullets that may present a feed issue in the AR may disappear when fed through the bolt action. And with the 1:16 twist, things could get interesting.

Longer throat would be a smart move for Ruger....more case capacity for mono-metal bullets.....also sub-sonics....

I contacted Scott Woodward at Outlaw Bullets he said they have made up to 600 GR. Sub-Sonic bullets in .451" like this....

Ruger would use the SAAMI spec, which has a long freebore as it is.

Yes. I suspect this is true because I've cycled a couple of samples and they feed and eject with no issues. But I've yet to fire a live one and I've not yet measured the freebore.
