Good Lord, that's a generous magazine!

Do the rounds move forward during recoil?

I haven't noticed it during my sessions. But now you can see. This opens up a few more bullet choices.

I bought on of these last week from Randys. Mounted a 2x 7 Redfield on it.

I haven't been active in the 450B for years, but jumped at getting this bolt gun to do things that I can not do with the AR.

Shot it this weekend and IT WILL SHOOT! Although at 6 pounds -- it is NOT a bench gun. It screams for a brake or suppressor. BUT for the one shot you'd have at a critter ----

There is plenty of room in the magazine and the cartridges are free to move a considerable distance. That does not effect the feeding. However, there is a considerable distance from the magazine feed ramp to the breach face. I tried some dummy rounds with WFN lead bullets and they need to be fiddled with. However, I have really not played around with it much. Factory ammo is flawless.

My immedate goal is a 50 yard load ----- what I might call COWBOY velocities. 1300 fps range with a 250. Just for playing around and not dislocating your optic nerve.

Have ROSS make you a brake exactly like mine with four gills and the rifle becomes a true kitten.
Watch this one.
I shoot the Grendel then the Ruger. Watch the recoil on the Ruger.
New rail and PEPR mounts installed since the making of this video.
