Used my Leupold Zero Point bore sighter and was confident I'd hit paper with 1st shot at 100 yards and I did. It was an inch high so I moved it down 4 clicks (but I shouldn't have) and then shot a 3 shot group at one of those exploding bullseye and was impressed. Had a 1/2" group and nearly put two shots into the same hole.
Norman Fox of Fox Firearms in Burton, MI uses a Savage .308 action and instals a 450 barrel on it. The barrel is free floated in a Boyd's stock I believe with a Cerakote finish on the barrel.
Then I went to where I hunt so I could shoot at 200 yards and jerked the first shot (lower right) and then had a clean 2nd shot. It printed about 2 1/4" low and 2 1/4" right which mirrors the 1" low and 1" right at 100 yards so I set it back 4 clicks up and 4 clicks left. I think this rifle will hunt!
