Has anyone seen the Ruger Americans with Go Wild Camo in 450 Bushmaster yet?

https://ruger.com/products/americanRifl ... 26928.html

I think its a great looking gun, especially with a 22" barrel and a different break than the Ranch 450s. Only thing is, I am not sure how I feel about the 1:7.7" twist. Seems rather fast compared to what most 450s twist rates are.
My AR has a 1:24" twist and it shoots like a champ. Does anyone know why Ruger is putting such a fast twist rate on these?

I’m going to guess misprint but who knows. I think the 5/8-24 muzzle thread is a misprint as well.

I questioned the 10 twist on their #1 and it is 10t, so who knows.

I have to agree with Al. I have both the No.1 and the Gunsite and they both have the 1:10 TR. I was concerned about accuracy with the faster TR but range time and hunting proved it was unfounded concern.

Best way to find out if it is a misprint is to call Ruger Customer Service and have them confirm or deny.

I see no reason for a 1-10" let alone a 1-7.7"....1-16" is more than enough to shoot 400 gr. sub-sonics....

5/8"-24 might be because SilencerCo in the Hybrid will only make that size direct thread adapter....I tried for over a year to get them to make 11/16"-24 direct thread adapters

If I were Ruger's Risk Management Attorney, I'd be concerned with some fool screwing a .308 device on that thread by mistake! :?

Just got off the phone with Rugers Customer Service. Both are typo/misprints. Same twist and muzzle as American Ranch. 1:16 twist and 11/16-24 on the threads. Was told good catch and it will be changed ASAP on the website-so good catch OP!

This is great news! With a 1:16" twist, I may just be purchasing this gun. The reason I didn't buy a Ranch is because of the super short barrel, so this Go Wild version will be sweet. Or maybe I will opt for the Christensen Mesa with a 20" barrel. Tough choice but good thing is deer season isn't for 10.5 months, should be enough time to decide. :D

I love my Mesa so far. The 22” barrel does make the Ruger a hard one to pass on for the money. That new savage looks pretty nice too.
