If you try to snap round in bolt face the ejector pushes it out which is what it should do. the truth is in order to do so you need to place case rim under the extractor manually . the extractor will not move when you push case straight in as when you chamber a round.

My ruger American ranch rifle is scheduled for delivery this afternoon, Ruger received it on 1/22 so turnaround time was 9 days or 7 business days. They had to replace the bolt.

Glad its all fixed for you.

I have not had issue with mine in the 450, but I have twice broken mine in my 300 black out...

Each time Ruger promptly sent me all associated parts to repair as well as extras incase it happened when I was unable to get more parts.
