Ruger American/Magpul Hunter American Stock

Postby Ground_Check » Mon Sep 23, 2019 1:53 am

I have a Ruger American Go Wild in 450 Bushmaster and want to put the Magpul Industries Hunter American Stock on it.
Has anyone done this?
If so what AICS style mags work for this setup in 450BM, or does anyone have info on a AICS magazine made specifically for the .450BM
Any info in detail would be greatly appreciated.

there was a guy on Michigan Sportsman forum that put a RAR on that stock. Don't think there were any issues using the regular Magpul AICS mag.

Just installed one on my Ruger American Ranch 450 bushmaster. I’m having feeding issues using the supplied PMag 7.62 AC magazine. Happens every 2nd or 3rd round. Nose of the cartridge is not getting tipped up enough to feed (Hornady Black 250gr FTX).

Have you purchased one yet? If so, any feeding issues?
I’ll post again when I’ve rectified the issue.

I had feeding issues in my RARR with the factory Stock, so i bought the magpul stock and hoped to solve these problem, it got even worse.
Got rid of the gun and bought a Savage Wolverine, no more feeding issues.
