RAR 16" reciever slipping in v-block

Well this seems to have taken care of the issue. Shims folded over the vee blocks to remove the free play and a bedding job and .030 clearance provided behind safety. (This was my first go at the bedding). Holding up just fine to 250gr deep curls, 40gr of lil-gun. Last weekend my 12 year old grandson shot a nice white tail with it using this load at 170yds.

I apologize for saying this but that's a sorry excuse for a bedding block.

I was expecting to see something like this:

The image is from a Stocky's stock I have. I'd still be on the phone with Stocky's. I can't imagine you are the only owner experiencing this.

Yes that would be nice. An actuall recoil lug. The ruger concept is ok but the tolerances need to be tightened way up on the vee block to reciever relation. The shims worked out ok and bedding compound is awesome. Like a glove. Lol.
