Watching that rifle rack his frame, even with the Limbsaver, which he claimed was to make the LOP longer it doesn't appear that it was any kinder than my bolt action. He sure is adept at plugging as many manufacturers as he can but I guess that's a necessity on the Tube. I suspect that if I had been shooting standing, offhand, that the recoil would have been more manageable, as opposed to shooting BR.

Recoil would be very pleasant ....Ha Ha....

The recoil on the single shot seems less. Maybe due to the weight of the barrel. Maybe that Henry is a little lighter. But naw. I wasn’t being sarcastic this time. I love Henry rifles. I finally bought my first one a couple years ago. It’s a pump action 22 Magnum (WMR) with an octagonal barrel. It’s a sweet little rifle.
