Posted: Mon May 23, 2011 9:12 pmIf I was going to shoulder that cartridge in a bolt gun, I want a long heavy platform to reduce the recoil if nothing else. I saw a fellow shooting a 450 Marlin scout type bolt gun and it looked like a chiropractic advertisement. He asked me if I wanted to shoot it once and I politely declined.
