I have two Rock Chuckers and both of them work splendidly with the factory Hornady dies. My first Rock Chucker was probably made back around 1979 that I bought used in 1984. The other Rock Chucker I bought new a couple of years ago. I use it primarily for decapping and for custom crimping.

Thanks for the info about the dies. I haven't done much CF loading since the 70's and early 80's and didn't know if the threads may be specific for each loader type. I've shot just a single box of the factory 250gr FTX bullets. I'm quite amazed at how accurate the rifle is.
For those experienced in reloading, what appears to be one of the better propellants? I've been told Lil Gun... ??

Nice stick and great shooting.

That a drop magazine?

Lilgun is great, some use H110/296, I've used a good bit of 1680 with 300gr pills.

I've got most of the pieces to get my 450 bolt gun ready, hopefully by the end of the month I'll have something put together.

The barrel length on this rifle is 24".

It has the 3 round drop mag. I didn't like the extended 5 round mag.

Finally got it all done about 85% the way I want it, of course I will still be tinkering with it. I started with a savage 110 action in 30/06 that I had owned since about 1995, and never used it much because it was not a legal deer rifle in Indiana. Through out the process I have learned a ton about how my equipment works and I feel it will make me a better marksman and hunter.

Specs:
Savage 110 factory adjusted trigger
Savage wood stock , Pillar and glass bedded with camo paint
Apache gun works 450 bushmaster 1-16 twist 20 inch barrel
EGW Rail, Primary Arms Tactical mounts and Primary Arms 4X14X44 FFP Mil Mil Scope

Thanks
