4-D Products rents reamers, and has added the 450 Bushmaster to their list.

Here''s a link to their list of calibers. Selecting the caliber on that page should open a page showing fees, etc.

vz58-
Why would a gunsmith use a 450 Bushmaster head space gauge with a 7.62x29 rim diameter? I'm easily confused, so thanks in advance for any educational comments.

Ok I was slightly misspoken. The bolt action guages that were sent had a rim diameter that matched the.case diameter. i.e. no rebated rim. The second set of gauges I received had a .455" rim. Closer to the 7.62x39 rim. The .284 brass rim is around .480" or spmething similar. I just wanted to warn anyone renting the guages to be sure to get the rebated rim.

Actually the standard of our case rim is .473, just like the 06 family of cartridges. But then again I too have measured some in the .480 area.

As long as it is a 450b gauge and has a standard head, on that gauge, which I don't know why anyone would make it any other way, everything should be HunkDory..
