thats pretty cool

have you chrono'ed it yet? i was told by franklin when i talked to them that their 7" upper was more for "can it be done" than "should it be done" since getting that short neuters the caliber due to velocity loss. i was talking to them about doing a possible 9" upper build due to the stupid 26" rule here in Michigan and pretty much abandoned it as such.

will be interesting to see your data if there is any :)

Well. There's a funny story about that. But it involves a blown up chronograph. He only got one reading. Second shot executed the chrony. That was 1491FPS.

Definitely don't want a 450 Bushmaster to hit you in the hand. Especially after I saw what it did to a pigs face in a YT video I watched the other day.

Neat project. Was that velocity reading from factory ammo?
I think about a 450B AR pistol project every so often, don't know if I'd be able to handle the muzzle blast from it though!

That was the only shot the Chrony measured. Second shot, he blew it up. Personally, I think the reading was flawed due to an over abundance of unburned powder flying through the reading field of the Chrony.
