450b "sort of a pistol" in the news...

Current (2012) issue of The Book of the AR-15 from Intermedia Outdoors (Guns & Ammo) has an article reviewing a new, well, not exactly pistol version of the 450b from Franklin Armory, their model XO-26. Title of the article is "Hand Cannon", not surprisingly. They were impressed! :)

If you read the comments on Franklins' XO26 video, you'll see where we discussed a Ross Brake for that bad mamma Jamma..

Yup, there's a thread on the XO-26 buried on here somewhere. Here is another video of it:

Been trying to get him to join the board but unless he's here in cognito, I haven't seen him yet.

I'm all in favor of anything that is fun to build, shoot, own or just show off but I can't get a personal like going for AR "pistols." Seems like they combine the worst of all the features and handicaps of a firearm. Too big to handle with one hand, too short a barrel to get good velocity, to unweildy to aim effectively. More power to those that like them.
My Daddy was wrong when he said: "When a man turns 60 he ought to be able to trade his testicles in on a new set of teeth." Oatmeal and soup don't sound too bad.

+1
In Theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In Practice, there is.
