Has any one done any work with this bullet ? I was wondering if it would make a good deed round.

Here's a Youtube video of a hunter kicking a nice Ohio buck using the 225 Xtreme Defense at 2200fps, albeit from a 45-70, but 2200 is still 2200 and well within the safe capability of the 450b.

I say go for it.

Yes sir that's the one . The way that deer fell I believe the 452 220 gr would be great in the 450 .

It has and will always be about shot placement, that goes without saying.

I'd wager that if you include poaching and subsistence killing, the 22 LR would place near the top in calibers that took the most white tail deer. It sure wouldn't be about its terminal performance potential, so it would have to be about placement. Shoot 'em in the right spot and they won't argue about it. ;)

Your right again Hoot , I was just wondering about terminal performance . The makers say the bullet makes a wound channel more like a hollow point than a full metal jacket ,just wondering if anyone has seen this first hand .

Yeah, I’d like to see the actual performance on game with these. I have some of these, and the 135’s. I worked up the 135’s and tried to use them for deer hunting, but nothing came across my path.
