Bullet choice for hogs

What bullet is everyone loading for hogs?
I'm currently using the Barnes 275 gr and am looking at other options due to availability.

Try Bear Creek Ballistics, I believe you can pre-order, and wait.

IMHO Just about any 45 cal bullet will get it done if you do your part at the trigger. Distance is a factor however. Don't go all Quigley Down Under and you'll get 'er done.
That being said. If like me, you don't appreciate finding bits of toxic lead in your meat, then monolithic copper is the way to go. I have permanent neurological damage from exposure to heavy metals, most likely lead from soldering for a living for 45 years, many while sucking on a heater, as I worked. The heaters are 14 years behind me but I'd trade my most favorite firearm(s), to have the feeling back below my shins. Ever walk on mudder's stilts? That's my world.

Barnes makes three for this chambering. The 250's would be my first pick.
Next would be a heavy Hornady XTP designed for 45LC. But would be concerned about excessive speed produced by my 25" CVA single.
And the Barnes has a much higher B.C. ---- SAWMAN

IMO the 275 Barnes are a overkill, excessive recoil, and much excessive cost per bullet.
Are you eating these hogs ?? Are you concerned about B.C. and bullet trajectory ?? Are these the only accurate bullet in your weapon ?? --- SAWMAN

I am going the other way.
I will soon be trying out the Lehigh Defense 135's pushed by a max chg of Trail Boss. This ... at the closer ranges.
