Now that's classic! I love the bandana shirt too.

LilGun in a .357Mag?

TSD-
According to the loading data for the 357 on Hodgdon's web site, Lil'Gun with 170-grain Sierras is about 80 fps faster than any other powder; the next faster powder is 296/H110 at 5K psi higher pressure.

With 180 Noslers, it's about 25 fps faster than any other powder; the next faster is again 296/H110 at 5K psi more pressure. Dropping to 158-grain XTPs, Lil'Gun is 15 fps slower than 296/H110, but at 15K psi lower pressure.

With heavy bullets in the 357, it looks like Lil'Gun is better than a pair of goat glands. Perhaps I missed your point?

No! It's me that's excited! I've been using 2400 for my 180 grain Sierras. Knowing I can experiment with LilGun too is awesome!

Lil Gun...I use it in .357 Mag, .41 Mag, .414 SuperMag, .450 BM and .300 BO. Very versatile and in most loadings, one of the better choices.

I have not used 2400, 296, Enforcer and several other powders since I found Lil Gun.
