So. I have the opportunity to try this. Unfortunately I don’t think I have the powder that will work with something this heavy. And if Timothy knew that I was fixing to try this, he would ask me why I would want to try to project a bowling ball?
With that in mind anybody have suggestions on what kind of powder I could consider for bullet weights between 325 grains to 500 grains using cast bullets with powder coat and gas checks.
Yes your beloved crazy arsed Sheepdawg has acquired a huge Casting set up. I don’t have everything operational yet, that’s going to happen later this spring. I have to have the shop upgraded specifically for this type of project. And I’m waiting for my income taxes to come back. Once I have the shop set up, I will be casting all kinds of bullets. I’m not too sure about these monsters, but even though I’m not shooting them, I can cast them for others to try.
