Lil Gun powder

I notice that Hornady indicates Lil Gun as thier preferred powder for loading the 450. On another sites forum, I read that Lil gun can cause extreme barrel wear due to its burning excessivly hot. Most of the posts dealt with handgun loads, i.e. the 454 casul. Is anyone aware of similar problems when used in the 450BM?
Thanks

The way I shoot, I will be rolling around in a wheel chair with a gun rack before I burn up a barrel. And I shoot pretty regular, considering I have my own rifle, pistol and archery ranges.

Add a gun rack, potty, IPod bracket with speakers and a 2 Meter HAM Radio and we're set!
