THIS LOAD WAS MILD IT SEEMS. I BELIEVE THERE IS ROOM FOR MORE VELOCITY ALTHOUGH I DONT FEEL THERE IS A NEED FOR MORE. ACCURACY WAS ACCEPTABLE AT 1 3/4 IN GROUPS AT 115 YARDS. ILL POST TARGET PICS IN THE MORNING. IM GOING TO ICE MY CHEEK AFTER ABOUT 40 ROUNDS OF BUSHY AND 30 300WIN MAG 185GRN VLDS DOWN RANGE.

Could you post pics of the bullet and maybe a loaded round too?

Give you a idea of the palting thickness of those bullets, it's the 4th from the left.

L-R 250gr XTP, 240gr XTP Mag, 300gr Speer Unicore, 300gr Deep Curl (were Gold Dots before) and a 300gr .458 Speer

I like the way they look.........nice heavy jacket and a hollow point.

Should get some expansion from the HP yet the heavy jacket should hold the bullet together through the tuff stuff!

Would like to see some bullets fired into different media.

It looks like a Ninja star, very cool. How old is your brass, is it remy or hornady?
Three is two, two is one and one is none.

Should be a good loading...the Gold Dot boolit design has passed all the FBI "penetration through various junk but still expands" tests...for what that's worth.

There has been some confusion if these are golddots or the fusion line from ATK. If anybody could weigh in on this please do. Most people have told me they are the bonded fusion line. The brass is once loaded hornady. Its just dirty from sitting in a box for the last year. The factory loads were shot then the brass sat for ever. Don't worry I wiped them all down with a mild cleaner and a rag and they shine now.

There had been a discussion on some factory remy rounds new in box looking like your once fired. Was just wondering what you were shooting. Would you trade 20 of your ninja loads for 50 pieces of brass and shipping? What length barel are you shooting?
