just got back from picking up a box of 240xtpmags and in my mailbox is the 260gr freedom arms jfp bullets! that was fast, now to get some loaded. for the xtp's it will be the hoot lil gun load, for the 260's im thinking lil gun,h110,4227 and 296, what would be a good starting point?

That 260 is right in the Lil Gun sweet zone. I myself would start with try 38gr and work up. Quickload predicts it's a safe starting point and there are a lot of folks shooting the 250s with that load. Seat it to the cannelure and lay a .475 taper crimp to it. Work up in half grain 3-shot groups for best accuracy with an eye out for pressure signs. If you can't find a good grouping load, seat it out further, but not less than .25 insertion depth and repeat. Perhaps someone has already worked it out and will chime in.

What should I be looking for if I "keep an eye out for pressure signs?" Photos of the various possibilites would be of interest, if anyone has them.
