WC 867 and WC 872

Postby lungingturtle2 » Mon Apr 01, 2013 4:29 pm

Has anyone had any experience with WC 867 & WC 872 in the 450 Bushmaster? I have heard some guys are having some success with these powders in the 45/70 pushing 405gr bullets at 2000fps. I know that this powder is very slow burning as it was made for 20mm rounds. I wouldn't be asking, but with the current shortage of normal powder this could possibly be a cheap alternative. Wideners has it at 39.00 per 8# jug, buy 6 jugs and get free haz mat. Mike.

Total waste of time in this caliber, especially with our barrel lengths. Sorry.
