I use it to load 45acp, 9mm, 38/357 and love it. I haven't had a chance to get the dies and caliber conversion to load 450 Bushmaster yet but there is a thread from a long, long time ago stating that someone here loads the Bushy with it. You can't go wrong with it, and it REALLY shines when you're loading 1000 rounds in a sitting!

The Short answer is "Yes". I might be assuming to much but if you don't already have one and are new to reloading, I'd not recommend as auto-press, they are way to complicated, will confuse your data stream, at a time when you need total concentration.

If this is the case get a descent "O" press and you'll have it forever. After you get your feet real wet with experience, you'll use the O-Press with the Dillon type, to compliment your Ballistic endeavors nicely.

I personally have two RCBS Rock-Chuckers and have had one for more than 40 years. I can't imagine, even with all the high-end reloading equipment, being without a good O-Press too.

Just for grins Lee makes a pretty good affordable O-Press too, there are others and don't be afraid to buy a used O-Press, you can't wear them out. Case in point.. I'd love to buy a wore-out RCBS press (I've seen them for $15 bucks with the die threads broken/stripped out), with RCBS customer service being as it is, they will rebuild or exchange it for new..

I have had one of my Rock Chuckers since 1984 and bought it used then. It does everything. From 32-20 Win up through 450 Bushmaster and ten other calibers in between. And it's still solid. I recently added a new rock chucker to the bench to aid in my projects. I've never owned a progressive.
