Ive been looking everywhere for some 275 xpb's with no luck. What has happened to them all? They look like an excellent choice for us.

I seem to recall my local Cabelas having some in stock not too long ago. I could check next time I'm there if you're interested. Cost plus shipping to you.

I also think the barnes .458 300 grain tsx would be great sized down. Good bc and good length. I just happen to have the sizing dies to do it with! Those socom boys don't have anything on us! P.s. I'd be willing to size some down for anyone just pay postage or give me 5 bullets and ill pay postage.

how much effort you think it would take to resize solid copper pills?

One bullet that I was ringing out in my 460 encore last fall was the 250gr Barnes TEZ ML bullet. They shot pretty good for the limited shooting I did with the gun. Think there is a 290gr version along with a boat tailed version too.....TMZ maybe.

I would guess that .458 with ring grooves might have less pressure than the ML's thou.

I have resized .458 aluminum bullets to .452. I can't imagine the copper being any more difficult. I resize them in 2 stages .454 first then with a .451 die which with the aluminum came out to .452 after spring back. I have some barnes spitfire 285's to give a try. I hope they shoot good because i think they have a decent bc!

Stealth Shooter. Did you have any luck resizing the 300gr .458 Barnes? That looks like a bullet I'd like to try. If it did work, what sizing dies did you use?
